they could have done that better.

I agree,

"Smith's body, still on her mattress, was dragged across the courtyard of the apartment complex, strapped down on the wrecker and covered with a piece of carpet"

They handled her like a road kill.

In the end, we are all just dead lumps of flesh laying on a metal table with a Y-incision.

I dunno if I would say anything...how else would you respectfully move a cow-sized obese woman? A crane + dumptruck?

I hate to break it to you, but they do have lifts that will lift her up to put a gurney under her. And how the heck will a van not haul a measly 750lbs? The article even stated that they had equipment that will take up to half a ton. They need sued over that one.

Who would admit to being the "boyfriend" of a 750 pound woman?

Somebody who's honest and possibly loved her despite her size. I have a lot more respect for him than I do the asshats on here who claim to date super models and find Jessica Alba barely average.

Aye. She could of been a very wonderful person.

This is sad. Some people get ill in conjunction with weight gain and it just keeps growing. It can be very hard to lose weight after a certain point.

I can't even begin to imagine the logistics of making babies with a 750lb woman.

I imagine it would be kinda like baking a cake. First, you start with some flour.....

"I think they should have handled it differently, putting her on a flatbed like they did. That was like putting a cow up there," said Smith's boyfriend, David Johnson.

Well, I don't know, is there law against family member from helping to remove the corpse?

still, 750 lbs is a lot of weight

she weighed more than ralphie iv and v, the university of colorado buffaloes mascot, did at each of their introductions

"A Kansas State Wildcats player was once run over by Ralphie"

LOL

They should have cut her up into more manageable sized pieces. Either that or just blow her up with a few tons of dynamite. 😀

Maybe in this case, the careful use of Red Matter would be justified.

considering state budgets these days i wouldn't expect them to buy specialized equipment for lifting and transporting the ridiculously obese just for a few freak cases. did they do it for free? wonder how much it would have cost them to hire specialists to haul her away. if it was free or below cost then they should really just shut up.

as for why not a van... probably atleast 200lb of bowels in that body..maybe 100 pounds of fermenting food waste... who knows... a jostle during transport= omfg

LOL that is kind of funny. How else are you going to haul 750 pounds of meat? 😛 I suppose they could of used a fork lift.

I wonder what the funeral is going to be like. An excavator and crane with a bunch of workers in hard hats directing the crane? lol

eww I never looked at it that way, but you're probably right. Dead bodies tend to "let go" of whatever is inside, so yeah...

Maybe a pickup truck would of worked though, like a super duty half ton model. Then you just hose it down.

Why do they need to be sued?

It will serve as an example of what not to do. Much like how super-models, actors and athletes serve to remind us not to fucking over eat.
