The parents of these woolly mammoths in training should have to pay more for health insurance.
I remember in a lecture about medical ethics our lecturer mentioned a country (I think it was somewhere in the UK?) where a politician had brought up the idea of paying for people to lose weight. It seemed like a good idea and all, except that when people stopped achieving the milestones to keep the money flowing in they just started gaining weight again.

Obesity correlates with poverty so well people are use it in indexes that measure it. Minorities are also at the head of the pack with 50% of black females being Obese (Spanish women right behind them). Don't see the feds being too hard on them.

States with highest percentages of fatties:

1 Mississippi
2 West Virginia
3 Alabama
4 Louisiana
5 South Carolina
6 Tennessee
7 Kentucky
8 Oklahoma
9 Arkansas
10 Michigan

I've never understood why states with nice weather are fatter than states with shitty weather. Except that hicks like to drive everywhere and won't pay for walking trails, sidewalks, bike trails, etc.

Oh, so now we are all experts on fat people?

Go Government and pick on the fat people.

I thought we all accepted minimum Government, just so we WOULDN'T pick on fat people.

Honestly, wasn't that the purpose of Government? To protect people from picking on other people (because they are fat).

Today, it's purpose is to prevent fat people.

The reason the government should pick on fat people it's because it's hilarious when the minority are able to pick on the majority.

* Percent of noninstitutionalized adults age 20 years and over who are overweight or obese: 67% (2005-2006)
* Percent of noninstitutionalized adults age 20 years and over who are obese: 34% (2005-2006)
* Percent of adolescents age 12-19 years who are overweight: 18% (2005-2006)
* Percent of children age 6-11 years who are overweight: 15% (2005-2006)
* Percent of children age 2-5 years who are overweight: 11% (2005-2006)

2/3 of Americans are fat. Taxes and fees put on fat people really means taxes on "average" people.

Everyone has the inalienable right to pursue happiness, as long as that happiness corresponds with the will of the masses. Last week, happiness meant paying my healthcare bills for me. This week, happiness is defined as a BMI of less than 18. Next week, happiness will only be allowed if you make less than an arbitrary threshold, above which you will be taxed into submission.

I took the fat states and added their per capita rank. Seems to be a corelation. It also fits black and hispanic women would be poorer. My guess is the availability of cheap/fast food is a large cause of this.

States with highest percentages of fatties:

1 Mississippi 50
2 West Virginia 48
3 Alabama 41
4 Louisiana 30
5 South Carolina 45
6 Tennessee 37
7 Kentucky 46
8 Oklahoma 28
9 Arkansas 47
10 Michigan 34

Is this a slippery slope I see before me...?
