For the love of money, you steal from your own brother...
Who is stealing from who? Because I have lived my life full of effort and am able to pay for whatever I want am I stealing from the ghetto thug who puts ZERO effort into life by not wanting to pay for him? Or is the ghetto thug stealing from me by expecting me to pay for the things in life he wants, that are not free, but is not willing to work to secure?
Your taxes pay for schools you'll never attend. Roads you'll never drive on. Events you'll never see. Food you'll never eat. And yes, even now, health care you'll never receive.
As a participant in our representative republic (through activism and voting), you can help write policy on how your tax dollars are spent. But no single person makes the decisions. If you live in the country, you pay your taxes, with no ability to direct that money to things/people only you approve of.
So your tax dollars might be helping your neighbor down the street. Or a single mother in the next city. Or some street thug with a criminal record. It's not up to you do micromanage each cent of the taxes you pay.
He sure as fuck won't turn down the services those tax dollars provide, though.
