So your contention is that the entire tape of the speech was freely available 4 years ago, but not a single news outlet chose to mention the parts of it that just came to light yesterday? And I'm not talking about the "quiet riots" remark that was mentioned in the link you posted, as that was in the prepared remarks initially released.

He posted the article. Read it, then read it again. And you'll be able to answer your own question.

The 2007 event was open to the press, and CNN affiliate WAVY recorded the full speech. The crux of his speech was reported by CNN at the time on air and online.
The speech was reported on or discussed multiple times on CNN over a three day period.
Segments aired on the "The Situation Room" and CNN's "Lou Dobbs Tonight" on June 5, 2007, which was also the day of a CNN Republican presidential debate.
The next day, CNN anchor Paula Zahn noted in her program, "Because of the Republican debate, you might have missed a new controversy involving Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama." Her program, "Paula Zahn Now," included a report on the comments and a panel discussion. A report by CNN Correspondent Mary Snow on the racial aspect of the comments also ran on CNN that day.

"This was hardly a secret tape," he said. "It's in the tape library of most of the networks, including CNN. It was a publicly covered event. It was discussed not only with [Fox News commentator and conservative] Tucker [Carlson] but on Fox. ABC talked about it."

Are you finished now? There seems to be only one person here with trouble comprehending.

I challenge you or anyone else to post proof that the full tape and/or transcript were available prior to yesterday. Proof, as in an actual story or link posted before yesterday, not CNN's assertion made today that they've had the full tape the whole time. Or do you believe that ABC News was lying when they said that the 9-minute edited video and prepared remarks were all they and many others had access to in 2008?

Sorry, you're crazy and for whatever reason so emotionally attached to this story that all reason has left your mind.

You're deflecting now, because you can't post actual proof (because it doesn't exist).

No one cared in 2007 when this was revealed, and no one cares now that a few more minutes of the same speech was revealed.

FYI.

Yup and that says alot about the sheep who follow him blindly. This is his 47% speech and once again the Media will gloss it over as ahh shucks he was jus kiddin. No harm no foul move along he's a dem. Nothing to see here. Look Mitt has 2 cadillacs not just one! Ahh the real story!!!

Media elects presidents now and the sheep fall in line... the check line...

I have, it proves nothing I asked to be proven.

You seem to be completely dependent on opposition to test your beliefs -- you stand firm and expect us to throw ourselves against your castle walls, and think that your fending off an attack means that you have proved that Truth stands behind you.
Too bad that is in no way true. That system is lazy and leaves massive holes in the testing of beliefs. And those holes tend to get worse over time as the person becomes better and better at blocking his mental pathways of agreement to opposition, as that is all he ever trains himself to do.

Know this: Your beliefs are not the center of the Universe. There is no moral obligation for others to keep trying to force information into you until you get it right. You may have interpreted the vigor in which others promote their beliefs to mean that your only obligation is to sit there and defend, and that a failure to convince you hands you a victory and them a loss, but this is in no way the case.
You were born ignorant. Failing to improve yourself from this state does not actually hand you any sort of win. Playing defense keeps you away from the "scary" world of the totality of the evidence and keeps you ignorant and unable to base conclusions on the fullness of the evidence.

So instead of playing defense, why don't you go on offense with yourself? Get out there and test your beliefs. Turn your sacred cows into hamburger and then see how the component parts mesh with all the condiments the human mind can imagine.

This is what it means to be a thinker, and you will never have any respect among intellectuals until you learn how to do this.

Come on CADsortaGIY, you got trolled by Fox news, and you bought it, hook, line and sinker.

How come no outrage that you got trolled and lied to? Are you going to continue to watch and believe everything they say, LOL?

Maybe start fact-checking before posting here recycled news stories from 2007?

Funny how your cognitive dissonance won't even allow you to be mad at the people that lied to you, and you even continue to defend them. Wow, how crazy is that?
