How exactly do you think insurance works? The insurance industry lost $11 billion last quarter, I'm not surprised they are increasing rates.

Maybe the peeps in here that rather do nothing likes getting "raped" by their insurance carrier

I've never had anything other than positive experiences with my insurance company. I'm not sure what my expectations are relative to others so that could be the problem?

The terms haven't changed yet (it's catastrophic coverage, I'm a Grad student), but it's interesting to see the rates go up so much w/o any cost from my usage.
It's a good eye opener that we need some sort of a reform, because it's not sustainable in the long run. With the current rate, my premium doubles every 5 years...

I not the one to ask . I wasn't even suppose to ever even discuss this . I always Believed in Man but greed put all hope for man down .
