LOL, the ignorance.

In spite of a lot of great things the House did getting blocked by the Republican abuse of the filibuster in the Senate to block about everything, Obama and Dems got a lot done.

Watch the following 5 minute clip from Rachel Maddow recently, which sums up some of what they have done nicely.

Wow...I had no idea how wonderful Obama was and the exceptional job he did spending money! The comparison to FDR was especially noteworthy! Oh yeah...and I really liked the part where she exposed the hypocrisy of those Reagan lovers....bwahahaha. When I really want to know what's going on....I turn to Michael Savage...err I mean Rachel Maddow.

Craig234...have you become the very thing you detest so much?

Look at the Scott Heard Around The World. His one vote is making sure this disastrous "financial reform" bill is being scrutinized and read instead of just passing willy-nilly.

That was crucial and We The People knew it so came out in droves to donate and make sure he won. That's what we're doing, targeting specific seats and focusing energy and money on them to take back this country and stop obama.

So for the nth time, are We The People taking back the country or not? Winning back a few seats??? That is not at ALL what you have been clamoring about for months now.

So you are lowering the bar now to specific seats or are you taking back the country?

Which is it? The Senate, the House, or gasp... BOTH in November? Are you going to stop posting for a month if the country is not taken back?

Meh.. even if the R's win, we're still going to be hurting economically, only this time all of the hacks can no longer say it's because of Obama.

Things weren't perfect from 2000-2006, by the way.

We need some new blood in Washington. Not D, and not R.

If Republicans win, Obama is getting reelected in 2012. We already know what they are going to do, continue to sabotage the recovery and launch endless fishing expeditions by Darrell Issa. Americans are not going to stand for that during a recession.

If they win house and senate the economy will turn around immediately because they'll pass incentives that are good for growth, not ones that punish it like our current congress. All to the tune of dear leader saying how evil those "bad corpations" are.

Business is scared to death of what's in washington right now, and rightfully so. They are being constantly attacked by the president.

Business is scared to death that Republicans will block further stimulus sending the economy into a tail spin.

Incentives? Like what- Tax cuts for the top .01%, so they'll "invest"?

More "free trade", so they can offshore jobs even faster? Abolish minimum wage? Cut SS and Medicare? Pay to train people for jobs that aren't there? Or just start another war?

What are these "incentives" you speak of, great one?

Tax cuts and stop the overburdening job killing regulation that is strangling business. No more of government telling people what they can make, etc.

Yeah, that is the problem alright!

Here is you

Here is the pulse

So alright you won't go on record that the GOP is going to take back the country like you keep saying it will. You have no faith apparently. Faith without deeds is dead.

I'll be voting GOP simply because I don't like the idea of one party controlling two branches. That and Frank Wolf has historically served us well.

If Republicans were the saviors that you claim them to be, then where were they from 2000-2006 when they controlled Congress and the White House?

It's a rhetorical question, so you don't need to answer it.

So, you post a thread about republicans plausibly gaining 39 in the house, and as evidence you post a link with them getting 24, then call me on crack?

Oh, how times change.

They estimate 62 now.

http://www.electionprojection.com/index.php

Told ya so.

My number of 2-3 dozen in the house matches right with your link's 24,

lol. 24. LOL!

and my suggestion of 4 in the senate is pretty darn close to your link's number of 7.

lol. 4.

more lolz.

Damn, this thread was in July? Funny how quickly the political landscape can change

I should probably stock up on Coke and other high caffeine beverages for Tuesday night, as I have a feeling hilarity will ensue and P&N will be one laugh after another. :D

Quoting for hilarity.

I will be sure to bump this thread once Obama wins again in 2012.

As it stands now, the R's are up 6 in the senate with three races unknown. If any go R, then I'll lose. If so, then consider this my last post in November.

Just so we are on the same page, either Buck or Rossi has to win, else nothing happens.

Correct?
