I listen to conservative radio everyday, and they attack Obama like he is a terrorist. I am a liberal, and that bill .. 95% of I like it... I like the $$ for energy, for construction, etc..etc...

http://sas-origin.onstreammedi...lnapa0ibrqnzwylssg.gif

Looking at the gallup chart,

Among democrats and independents, support has increased.

The biggest drop is among Republicans..and specifically conservative republicans...

I don't understand why they are supporting Obama at all.. They voted for McCain.....

Your hero's bill was just one more step towards a completely f*cked America. He didnt take the first step, that is for sure. But he is continuing the fiscal irresponsibilty.

Conservatives are kind and generous people and were willing to give the Messiah a chance on day 1. Blank slate and all.

Unfortunately talk is cheap.

I call BS on that. The far-left democrats are starting to turn away from Obama. Visit any left-wing board, and there is a growing animosity.

There was an interesting OP-ED about this. Basically as everyone who wasn't blinded by ideological rage knew, Obama has been very moderate. This makes the people on the far left mad as they feel betrayed, and the people on the right were determined to hate him anyway. So basically he's standing in the center, but in super polarized America this could lead to a situation where he's catering to a constituency that doesn't exist.

I would find that both sad and hilarious for the same reason. Basically the moderation that everyone always claims they want actually turns out to be 'moderation = whatever ideology I have', and there are no real moderates. At least it would put to death the false ideal of the middle of the road guy.

Buahahaha "very moderate" Only a blind BHO apologist would suggest such a thing. Just because the freak left and the conservative side of the aisle don't like him doesn't mean he ends up in the "center". Sheesh.

Because most of them want blood for the last 8 years and Obama isn't going to give it to them. I would personally enjoy watching Bush and Cheney get dragged out infront of cspan and screamed at but you know what? He's right, its not going to fix anything. shit is so fucked up right now he is going to have to make hard choices and he is. Republicans can whine all they want but he is doing *something* as opposed to the republican ideas that are totally tarnished, tired and old.

Makes sense, in that once he starts actually doing something, those far left or far right groups or whoever else who don't get their ideology implemented will start disapproving.

Uh - still very left? He's no where near the "center" unless you are trying to argue "center" of the left because that would likely be more accurate than trying to claim he is "center".

Winnar111 on 1/19/2009, day NEGATIVE ONE of Obama's presidency:
ep. Obama is all about taking from productive and successful people and giving to the bottom feeders.

See guys? He supported him all the way until he was not even in office yet!

You gotta admit, that's a pretty good troll. He can't be serious, so I can only assume he's trying to be funny. :)

Sometimes I wonder if he's not just the alternate posting name of some other, sane person on here who's just having a good time with everyone.

I figured you were but that's because you are no different. I'm Conservative - you're liberal. However, there is no way in hell any SANE person can call BHO "center". "center" of the left - maybe, but "center" in American politics? Pull your face away from his crotch.
