Hillary was generally expected to keep in close in Washington State and Louisiana, which certainly didn't happen.
What's the black population in Louisiana? Yeah, nobody expected her to have a chance there.

She was expected to be competitive there, not necessarily win. 15 points is not competitive.
And what is the Black population of Nebraska? Washington? uh-huh...
You're ignoring that the black population dropped substantially after hurricane Katrina and is still down. It also has a heavy Catholic population which is a Demographic Hillary had done extremely well with up to this point. Hillary also had Bill Clinton's governorship in neighboring Arkansas as a potential help for her in Louisiana.Originally posted by: M0RPH

The speech Obama is giving is pretty bad. He's stumbling around like Bush. He also sounds arrogant in some of his statements.

You really need to educate yourself on the whole neocon thing.Originally posted by: jpeyton
Obama will crush Hillary and McCain, in that order.
I hope the resident Neocons on this board are ready for a Democratic President and Congress.
Neo-conservatism was founded by Democrats who moved away from Democratic Party's move to the left in the 1960s.
I think the best quote I have seen about neocon is this one:
Neo-conservatism] is a term almost exclusively used by the enemies of America's liberation of Iraq. There is no "neo-conservative" movement in the United States. When there was one, it was made up of former Democrats who embraced the welfare state but supported Ronald Reagan's Cold War policies against the Soviet bloc. Today "neo-conservatism" identifies those who believe in an aggressive policy against radical Islam and the global terrorists.
Sums it up nicely, notice how you never seen any of us on the right call ourselves neocons? But lots of you lefties love to throw the term about.

Obama might have been expect to win, but the results were expected to be more like Alabama than this sort of very decisive victory.
Your position is dubious to say the least.Originally posted by: CanOWorms
No, only this particular speech.

She really needs to stop the habit of having her husband speak for her like he did in Louisiana. Just because he makes love to her every night doesn't mean he knows what she's thinking.

Its not the staes you should worry about. Its that damned fascist "super delegate" crap. If I have it correct, hitlery has enough ties to other politicians to get enough "super delegate" votes to overthrow the populous champion. For the people by the people?

Obama talked about both specifics and was inspiration while being eloquent.
Sure if you look hard enough you might some sort of superficial similarity, but the differences are very profound and quite obvious.
The reports I saw from the initial exit polls were less than half were black. Of course the number of black votes that did come out was due to the remarkable turnout of the black vote in the state.Originally posted by: techs
The news said that more than half the Democratic voters in Louisian were black.

Except many of the primaries aren't even about a populous decision.

And now comes the hard part for Obama.
With the primary schedule consisting of states he is expected to win up until March 4th the news stories will all be about the front runner Obama. Now the public scrutiny will really hit.
With not much to write about, I am expecting the media to start focusing more on his vague policies, lack of experience and even he dreaded "C" word.
With Obama admitting he smoked pot and used cocaine, it will only take one of his college classmates to say he bought some drugs from Obama, as people casually do.
And with the media willing to pay money for this sort of thing, it may get ugly.

That story a few days before the election didn't seem to hurt him much, so I don't see his drug usage as being an issue.
