Has anyone ever mentioned how disgraceful and embarrassing it is when sycophantic Bushwhacko liars wrap themselves in the American flag?

Bush? You mean the ex-President that has no bearing on current policy and spending bills?

Do you mean the thankfully EX-Traitor In Chief who already squandered trillions of dollars ... along with thousands of American lives
rose.gif
on his war of LIES in Iraq and the further trillions of dollars from the economic collapse caused by his lack of oversight of his wealthy Wall Street robber baron contributors?

You are like Al Bundy still talking about his 4 touchdowns in 1 game in highschool in his 40s.

And allowing sycophantic Bushwhacko apologists like you to continue to whitewash their lies and crimes without comment or challenge would be an open invitation to proving George Santayana's statement, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

How much has he spent in that time?

Spending is something that can be controlled in an instant. He has chosen not to reign in spending, and appears to losing popularity with world leaders with is "put it on the credit card" mentality.

Bush is obviously a part of this (find me someone who claimed he was a real fiscal conservative), but he is not going to be the fall-guy if these bailouts and large spending bills dont work. Expect seats in 2010 to shift red, and a landslide in congress for 2012, even if Obama wins.

Uh-huh... That's why your EX-Traitor In Chief never put his war of LIES on the budget and, instead, spent trillions more than we had with emergency supplimental resolutions. It was all smoke and mirrors, but the money was squandered just the same.

Did you think we wouldn't have to pay for it?

As of 3/26/09, 4,261 American troops have died in the Buswhackos' war in Iraq, and tens of thousands more are wounded, scarred and disabled for life.

:(

How about their grossly understated costs of continuing health care for the wounded troops they put in harms way... if they managed to survive. How about the continuting costs of supporting their families? :Q

As I posted, earlier, those trillions were wasted long before the Obama administration came to office. Now, we're stuck paying the price for the Bushwhackos' criminality. You're just bitching about how Obama's administration is doing it. The only good news is, your turds lost the election.

Oh quite the opposite, your idiocy is enshrined here for all time, a comforting thought. When school kids 100 years from now want to stare bigotry in the face, a simple google search will reveal you in all your glory. Then they'll go home to their parents, some with moms and dads, some with one parent, some with two moms or dads, and ask how people were so mean and intollerant back then, and their parents will smile and say, "oh honey, there will always be some people too dumb to know any better. Don't hate them for it. Pity them. Now you go finish your homework or no hoverboarding till Saturday."

You mean like Obama wanting the soldiers to foot the bill with private insurance?

http://www.thevoicemagazine.co...s-pay-own-medical.html

How many soldiers have died since he has been in office and has had the ablity to withdrawal most of our troops? What is with an 18 month time table when he promised less?

How many civlilians have died in US Military/CIA strikes on Pakistan since Obama took office?

How much has Obama increased the deficit?

Until you can directly answer those questions, you are becoming a self-parody parrot that really adds nothing to political discussion other than your usual drivel.

You are becoming a lone voice with the "traitor-in-chief" moniker. People want to know what is being done now to correct things, not before.

Anyone with an IQ over 20 is going to be able to draw a mental line in the sand and know what is Bush's fault, and what is Obama's fault, no matter how hard you try and pound it home that no matter what happens, it is Bush's.

The strange thing is that you seem like an intelligent person, but your mind is so clouded with rage over Bush, you fail to form and express any new arguments on current events.

Where have you been for the past year?

The fed chairman, and the previous, and current treasury secretary said so, and so do all of the top economists in the world... The credit market would have absolutely frozen up. Credit cards would be denied even when there was credit left. No-one would be gettting mortgages, cars, or anything. Furthermore small businesses that rely on short term loans to get by would be unable to get them, collapsing the economy entirely.

lol.... yeah the sky is falling.

Is that the best you can do? You have no point to make, and your side has no plan and no answers, so you just leave a one sentence sarcastic remark... No, it isn't falling, thanks to Bush and Obama doing the bailout's and stim. It sucks that we are here, but it has to be done...

Who cares how much he has spent? I for one wish he had spent more, but we can't all get what we want.

My post had nothing to do with how much he spent, it had to do with the continual attempt here to pretend that Bush never existed, and that nothing Obama has been doing has been in reaction to Bush's policies in the past. It's silliness.

As far as your prognostications for 2010 and 2012, I would be inclined to agree that there will be a small red shift in the House in 2010, but that's mostly because the Democrats kicked so much ass in 2008 that they control quite a few districts who have voter registration differentials that are heavily Republican and so its unlikely that they will be able to hold those long term. I don't see any reason to believe that there will be a significant nationwide shift to the right at this point however.

In terms of Senate seats it looks like in 2010 the Democrats could even pick up a few, as the Republicans have more seats to defend total, and they hold the majority of the most vulnerable seats. I would not be at all surprised if the Democrats further increased their majority there.

Of course predicting electoral results 2-4 years out is mostly a fool's errand.

I'm with you on the war thing, we need to stop this needless spending on war, Obama didn't do it right.

However, in regards to economics, spending at this time is justifiable and necessary, Obama did it alright.

Let all businesses that cannot operate with profit fail? Absolutely. It is not the taxpayer's job to keep a failing business model afloat, as it is a bottomless pit.

Bush didn't take us into the war in Afghanistan. That war came to us on 9-11, and we had no choice about spending whatever it cost to defend ourselves. We could, should and would have won that war by now if Bush hadn't fucked it up by pulling our military resources out of Afghanistan to pursue his elective, illegal war of LIES in Iraq, where he screwed that pooch at least as bad as he did the war in Afghanistan.

At this point, doing nothing is not an option. We're stuck in the hell the Bushwhackos created and left with no way around the costs of ending our involvement in both of those wars. All we can hope is that Obama has a better handle on the reality of doing it than the jackass traitors we just booted from office.

cat got your tongue? try to deviate from our discussion by name calling?

fyi, its all about the right amount of government control at the right time.

At current time, our economy is in shithole so we need a bit more control from government to regulate and stablize it. Later on, we might loosen it up, but for now, we need it.

both are still here. people who work there are still employeed. Definately more stable than having a few million more unemployeed workers out looking for jobs.

There's nothing "so called" about the LIES the Bushwhackos spread to pimp their war in Iraq. Rather than post one of my "macros," do your own homework, and search for any of my posts with one of them, including names, dates, quotes and links to prove the point. If you can't do that much, you're not worth the effort to discuss it further.

The war in Afghanistan is the war against those enemies who actually attacked us on 9/11, the war we undertook with the consent and approval of the large majority of the entire world community, including many Islamic nations... You remember... the war we should and would already have won if your fucking jackoff EX-Traitor In Chief and his criminal gang hadn't pulled our troops and resources, there, to squander them in his war of LIES in Iraq.

Apparently you are for killing innocent children and babies in an unjust and illegal war. But, your position doesn't surprise me at all because you have no respect for the Constitution.. if you did, you wouldn't support shredding it with nearly every post you make about wanting international laws or courts to apply to our Presidents.

I'm not sure which is greater, your blatant ignorance of the U.S. Constitution and our laws or your eager willingness to prove it. :Q

U.S. Constitution: Article II
.
.
Section 2.

The President...
.
.
... shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur;

By definition, treaties have the force of law within the United States. The only restiction is that they cannot trump or overrule the Constitution, itself. If the President signs and Congress approves a treaty subjecting the U.S. to international law, such as the Geneva Conventions and other laws against torture, the provisions of that treaty are as binding as any other law.

Do you only open your mouth to change feet?

If any President or Senate would approve our being ruled by a foreign court I would consider that an act of treason. Any such agreement would attempt to negate the constitution as the supreme law of our land, thus destroying it, THUS it would NOT be legal for Obama or any other President to enter into any such treaty. The fact that you support doing it tells me you do not respect our constitution. I cannot respect someone that hates the very document that gives you the right to speak your hate on this forum. You sir are a disgrace to what this nation was built on.

Sheesh! I have no idea why you continue to prove you know nothing about the law and the Constitution, and yeah, I know I refer to Bush, Cheney, etc. as traitors. That isn't the point for two reasons:

1. I can and have provided links to credible references supporting the charge.

2. The Bushwhackos are public figures. By statute, that raises the bar for what can be said about them.

Since you insist on calling me a traitor, I demand you prove it with links to exact statutory language and citations of exactly which acts I've committed that constitute the crime.

Your opinion and a dollar bill aren't worth the price of a single item at a Nintey-Nine Cents Store. If you can't prove I have committed the crime of treason, please enjoy an extra large helping of STFU. :|
