Substantially accurate. So ask yourself why the police want to portray whatever image an MRAP gives off to a civilian population?It reminds me of the outrage over "Assault Weapons" When in reality, both weapons are fully capable of the same exact thing...yet people are so focused on the image each presents.
The Bearcat can withstand a 50 cal. Why do they need an MRAP costing three times as much? To appear bad ass and intimidate everyone, nothing more. Because the fact is a lot of cops have shrunken testicles and a childish fantasy that they are in a movie as a superhero. As such, they want their superhero equipment while they taken on their arch nemesis in the form of a scared 88 year old who's house they incorrectly breached.
