They are only still alive because of the US. No one else cares about them besides as a humanitarian gesture. The arabs don't want them, Israel doesn't want them, no other country really cares. Once the Arab states come in line and make peave with Israel the Palestinians, without any backers, will have too as well.

Would you mind splitting California with Mexico? Sure they have a large population in SoCal, and they have a historicaly accurate claim to it? Or would you see that as infringing on your sovereignty and splitting your country up?

That is why Israel can't give up Jerusalem.

I agree with what you said. But to the Palestinians, their land was taken away from them and they're probably going to do anything to get it back. If Israel can't give up Jerusalem then it would be hypocritical to ask the Arabs to give up their demand for control for Jerusalem.

I have no way of knowing if such reprots are accurate (I don't think anybody else here does either).

But such reports to serve to illustrate how many are unsure of Obama's foreign policy inclinations, and I think rightfully so. The MSM has glossed over, or ignored such topics.

I think if we are gonna have a foreign policy shift it should be out in the open and debated, that's one of my complaints with Obama and/or the MSM coverage.

Palestine wants all of there land back. They have a habbit of making demands, and once those are met, asking for more. They were originally offered there own seperate states, but desired everything. Israel has to protect its identity and its heritage, Palestine is welcome to accept the terms that give it everything it wanted...10 years ago, but they refuse too, because now they desire more. Israel will continue to refuse the efforts by Palestine to subject and destroy the identity of Israel, until Palestine can come to the table with a set of demands it knows will at least start something no peace will be made. Israel, as the stronger nation can afford to sit back and wait, no one really cares. Sure people here condemn Israel, but no one really cares.
