It's apparent to me that Obama is in this for real, and if that's the case, Hillary will have to destroy him on the way to her bid at the White House. We should know from this forum that people CAN make all kinds of interpretations, and not all of them very sound at all. Why not make a case for why you think this was a Clinton slam rather than assuming it was. I don't see it as one at all. The statement's obvious implication is that she and Obama can run their own house, no? The more obvious interpretation, were you not so biased, perhaps, is that the party of family values has little and those family destroying Democrats got lots.

Exactly. If you concede that Michele was trying to compare her situation to other candidates, why would it have to be Hillary she was targeting? Maybe it was Giuliani or or McCain, both of who've been divorced? Possibly she was contrasting all of them together. "We can run our house, most of the other front runners can't."
