Clinton basically ignored the attacks...

heartsurgeon, the horse's ass remark is not a personal attack, its an observation and a optional personal choice you can can opt to resemble or not resemble. The choice is yours not mine on which position to take.

But I grant you that Clinton did not leave office with the USA in perfect shape and for that matter will any President past or present achieve perfection.

But without getting into any debates if Clinton did or did not do anything about terrorism, one is still left with the National Intelligence Assessment conclusion that for all GWB efforts of over reacting to terrorism, IT HAS RESULTED IN AN INCREASED NOT DECREASED LEVEL OF INTERNATIONAL TERRORISM.

What part of overall result's and counterproductive don't you understand? Its kinda odd when liberals are looking back nostalgically to the leader we had in Clinton, and neocons conservatives are looking forward to more brainfarts from someone who has a seven year track record of being a total failure.

Michelle said she travels with her husband in part "to model what it means to have family values,"

SunTImes

Finally, someone points out the 800 lb horny gorilla in the room with Hillary.

It's gonna get really dirty before this is all over. It's apparent to me that Obama is in this for real, and if that's the case, Hillary will have to destroy him on the way to her bid at the White House. She will not pick him as a VP candidate....i predict the rift between them will be rather significant..

..true. her way of dealing wit zipper gate was to leave the room.

that's just ludicrous:

1993 - World Trade Center bombing
1996 - Khobar Tower bombing
1996 - Bin Laden formally declares war against the U.S.A.
1998 - Bin Laden and al-Zawahiri jointly call for death of Americans everywhere.
1998 - U.S. embassy attack in Nairobi
1998 - U.S. Embassy attack in Kenya
1990 - U.S. Embassy attack in Dar es Salaam
2000 - attempted bombing of LAX Airport
2000 - attack on U.S.S. Cole

trying to rewrite the history books already?

Healthy economy? according to what? Clintoon sold off the strategic oil reserves to lower the national debt, and basically all additional debt reduction was by slashing the military budget...

he was all about feeling good, and sweeping the problems under the rug. oh ya, he shot a couple of cruise missles into an aspirin factory..

LMAO nice try HS, he swings... he misses

yes, we get it, you hate bush. your knee jerk reaction to anyone questioning another person's values/platform is to compare them to bush. That's right, bush did this, or bush did that.

It's time to concentrate on the candidates. bush isn't running again.

The "anybody but bush" angle ended up with bush back in the whitehouse. it's time to try another angle.

Dems need to realize, repeating the same "bush bad" mantra is not going to get a decent democrat elected. it's time to start focusing on the candidates themselves. Otherwise dems will be dissappointed again, just as they are now with the dem controlled congress.

at the moment, there's not much else to focus on.

they can't really attack each other too much, because it's self defeating, and you can't focus on the republican candidates too much, because you don't want to seem like you're even dignifying their existence before the primaries wrap up.

and the fact is, people respond better to negative campaigning than they do to people presenting ideas and positions. sad but true... complain all you want about "bush bad" campaigns, but bush won the election on a "kerry bad" platform.

..obama's candidacy is nothing more then a dnc ploy to make Mrs.Bill Clinton appear centrist after months of appeasing the liberal kook base.

LMAO, sorry that is just not how it works. The conservative have the corner marketed regarding a "kook base" and their numbers are staggering. You can't just throw out "liberal kook base" as the antithesis for said GOP base and expect it to stick. Appeasing to the Kool-Aid drinking far right in this country can actually get you elected. See POTUS as an example. Appeasing to the handful of true far left tree huggers only gets you laughed at and won't get you elected. So, just not seeing it bud. Nice try though.

Unfortunately for the Democratic-ran Congress, the far-far-left extremist kookie moonbats DID get them elected. And they're going to run them all out next election for failing to uphold the wishes of MoveOn.org et al.

Another poster (previously) was right on. It's time for you lefties to get over George W. Bush. He isn't running again. You wouldn't know it though, listening to you guys sometimes. Keep up the same tired old "We Hate Bush!" and "We Hate GOP!" and another election (or two) will go right to the GOP.

Get over it? Sorry, but murderers should be punished severely.

That's like telling some woman to get over her rapist, because it's unlikely that he'll do it again.

By the way, "teh evul liburulz" aren't the only people who hate the bush admin and want to see them punished.

alright, now you're being kind of histrionic. heh.

it's totally hypocritical of any republican to complain about democrats running entirely on an anti-bush platform since running on an entirely anti-democrat platform is basically how the republicans won every single election between 2000 and 2006, but hypocrisy in politics is nothing new.

This ones got to be a real whopper----Unfortunately for the Democratic-ran Congress, the far-far-left extremist kookie moonbats DID get them elected. And they're going to run them all out next election for failing to uphold the wishes of MoveOn.org et al.

Let me see if I have this fine example of logic correct---the people who voted for democrats because they were disillusioned with governance by right wing moonbats are now going to vote for and reward right wing moonbats because the democrats were not numerous enough in congress to over ride the obstructions of the remaining right wing moonbats. Not to mention the big moonbat obstructionist in the oval office who they did not get a chance to vote out in 2006.

Hey, Michele Obama can smack down anyone she wants, but to claim she is smacking down every candidate EXCEPT for Hillary is loonie!!

Hillary is number one on her smack down list, and if you don't think so, you need to resume taking your medications (Moonie, I'm worried about bro).

Lemmon, am I correct in assuming you are admitting that Bill C (married), obtained sexual gratification from a 19 year old intern (subordinate) within the White House (in the workplace), and that you find absolutely nothing wrong with that? I'm not judging you, I just want to be clear about what your values are...you have nothing against false testimony under oath (that mean's your for letting Scooter off), you have nothing against encouraging others to lie for you....

I know your not a hypocrite. never that.

Come on, heartsurgeon. It is a far cry form Hillary being number one on anybody's smack-down list and every word uttered by that person being directed or focused on Hillary. I think in your diatribe against Hillary in this thread you cross the line of sanity and enter an area called 'bearing false witness'. I think you are much too taken with your own opinions to the point of arrogance. And I doubt that meds would help you. Try being a bit more rational instead. Look at all the loons that bash Bush and see if you can't see the same in yourself.
