See, a democracy elect politicians, these are supposed to be the best of the best, the best we have to offer to lead our nations with regard to what is best for the nation and the people
GWB, Tony Blair, and lesser office holders.
Here is how it works. The politicians are for their respective parties. The public comes next. That is true of Democrats and Republicans. I've never lived in the Utopian land where politicians who are elected serve to lead. Neither have you.
dictatorships are there to do what is best for the dictatorship, same with the king of SA.

You do realise that you still pay more for less care as a nation, right, that you pay more tax money per capita than France or the UK for health care and then you have insurance costs that are three times that to even get the care anyway... There is no denying that the health care system in the US costs four times as much per capita as other socialised systems whle providing care to less people.
Really? Four times? We're higher for sure. Let's take Canada. They spend about 10% of GDP on health care. We spend 40%. Well no.
What you fail to take into account are several things but I'm going to ask you to explain what the differences between the US and Europe which might be responsible for the differences. I'm curious to see what you really know.
We can go on from there.
