I applaud Obama for making this move, makes little sense to keep qualified Mexican truckers that drive vehicles that meet U.S. regulations, who have the proper paperwork from delivering their produce / goods from Mexico to warehouses in America.
Bush caught hell for doing the same thing, so Obama knows what he is getting into. I must admire Obama for standing up to the labor unions (specifically, the Teamsters) impacted by this and doing the logical thing.
