YouTube Link for Audio

So, in a while preparing for an interview they CNBC camera crew inadvertently had the audio recording on only to capture Obama talking about how he felt about Kayne West interrupting Taylor Swift on the VMAs. He said he thought [Kayne West] actions were inappropriate and later said he was a jackass.

While, it's nice to know the president has sense of humor I seriously wonder how this will effect Kayne's career. Has anyone been watching the MSM? Have they reported this?

Kayne is a jackass and I applaud Obama for saying so. Come on guys, if its something you would say, don't criticize this man for saying it. Of course he can't say it on the record, but if it somehow gets recorded off the record, oh well.

Haha, after watching the video I like it even more now! I especially like how Obama's like "come on guys *short sigh* cut the president some slack..." rofl, awesome!

I'm deeply shocked that my Messiah would talk this way. This almost destroyed my faith. Clearly, however, the whole thing is a fake, some kind of photoshop thing.

Topic Title: Obama says Kayne West a Jackass

Can't really argue with that. Yah gotta wonder what Kanye was thinkin'. Beyonce showed a lot of class askin' what's-her-face back out.

Maybe Kanye thought he was at a health care town hall meeting ?

At least he admitted to being rude and apologized

The video bothered me. I wish he didn't make the 'cut-tape' motion. Seems spineless to me.

And "cut the president some slack?" Modest.

Kanye is a douche though. I'd love to see what would happen when he wins an award and someone rushes the stage and takes his microphone from him.

Even those who hate Obama should give him props for this one.

I'm sure Fox News and O'Hannibaugh will find some way to criticize him for this too.

Kanye West doesn't care about white people! :D

At least Obama like the rest of us can recognize when someone is being a jackass. Kanye fits that definition perfectly. Although I'm not happy that Obama didn't say that publicly on record, I am at least happy that Liberals and Conservatives can agree with at least one thing Obama says.

Obama is right on this one. I am not sure he should have said it, but I guess I don't really care. I suppose I would care more if it was about somebody I liked. But then again... maybe not.

at this level I see no reason why NOT to say it... Kanye isn't Vladimir Putin or anything.

The Messiah was calling a spade a spade. Whats wrong with being truthful?

But I'm shocked the President uses the same words we mortals do . . .

I think it's wrong they released it, when Obama did not intend it for on the record.

Kanye West said, in effect, he was a jackass and that he's very sorry. Who cares?

You mean cut tape after he said it like when you know it's already too late?

GFT.

I am not a fan of Obama, but I agree 100% with what he said. If anyone is to "blame" here, it is the reporter for not keeping it off the record.

Connie Chung anyone? :p

I don't give a crap if Obama intended it to get out or not. He works for me, and if he says it in public I have the right to know. Notwithstanding. he said it and he's spot on.
