1) The Texas Moron posts an imbecilic argument, then asks a loaded yes/no question.
2) Lots of rational, non-yes/no answers are provided, proving that the Texas Moron is arguing out of context and with abundant ignorance.
3) The Texas Moron responds to the rational answers by repeating the loaded yes/no question.

“Now, the flip side of it is there are some black folks and maybe some white folks who really like me and give me the benefit of the doubt precisely because I’m a black president,”

No comment about someone liking or disliking him because of his achievements or failures.

According to the statements, people either like or dislike obama because of his race.

You really have a problem understanding things like what constitutes a whole vs parts of the whole.

Let me post what Obama really said.

Note the bolded, underlined, brightly colored word "some". That would not be "all". It would be a subset of the whole, much like "The flu shot is safe for all pregnant women" would include higher risk pregnancies because all pregnancies were studied, and "high risk" is a subset. You need to work on parts of a whole.

I don't like Obama. That's not because of Obama's racial profile and there is nothing in what I quoted when viewed in the context of proper English that remotely suggests that race is the cause for all approval or dislike.

"Some" is not "all".

How difficult is it to grasp context in what he said? The people holding up signs that say "Its time to clean out the White Hut" don't dislike Obama because they dislike Healthcare, they dislike him because he's black.

His own words included the word SOME. So, your post/issue is pretty much immediately invalidated. It's not "people either like or dislike obama [sic] because he is black", it's SOME "people either like or dislike obama [sic] because he's black".

In short, it's a factual statement which you then misrepresented in order to malign him. Poorly executed play on your part. tsk tsk.

btw, is there a particular reason why you can't correctly write Obama's name with the proper capitalization?

The percentage difference between winning and losing has not been great over the last several Presidential elections. A small minority of white voters could easily translate into a loss based on race. The math doesn't lie.

Conversely, a white President to be in the reverse situation would require far more in terms of percentage of black voters to have a similar effect.

This demonstrates that the effects of racism are magnified with a black candidate vs a white one. That's why the phenomenon is worth mentioning because the effects are significant for a person of color.

It's merely a case of demonstrable logic, not rocket science.

No, he's claiming that Obama said so. Unfortunately the quote he used shows that he's misrepresenting what Obama actually said. In short, not too bright when it came to framing this particular (contrived) 'issue'.
