This election will be about shoveling the experienced crooks out with the trash.

The experienced you speak of are free to leave the country and their supporters can follow.

Awwwwwwww how much extreme profit will you have to give up?

36 ft Yacht instead of an 80 footer?

At this point I'd settle for a dinghy and a sheet.

Florida and most of the southern states have to clean house first.

Are you willing to help make that happen?

Nope; I don't have many material possessions or fancy toys. However, I don't want to be taxed more to pay for your health care.

At 1,000 a month for health care, 3,000 a month for a house, money isn?t what it used to be. A person can be off government services and still struggling to maintain a budget. Expanding government and taxes would merely put us all on government programs and utterly destroy the choice involved.

The larger it becomes, the more Washington DC owns you from birth. Karl Marx said it was okay though right, as Stalin and Castro proved?

Well I have great news for you. You're still free to leave the country if you don't like it.

If you followed your own advice, you've had 6 years now to leave the country. you don't like the current administration, why aren't you gone yet?

Don't forget you're free to leave as well Dave. Make sure you take the rest of the socialists/communists with you. I work to pay for me; not you. No free handouts here.

Both parties are complicit in increasing govt spending, they just give diff priorities.

Personally I see our healthcare system a tremendous drain on the economy. Its still tremendously expensive and still offers poor coverage overall for many. It ties workers to corporate jobs b/c they are the few that can cover you and not drop you when you get sick. It becomes a deterent to starting small businesses, as private coverage is exp and likely to drop you when you get sick. Its one of the leading causes of personal bankruptcy.

Eg. in my own family, my uncle started and owned a successful oil drilling co. In his late 50s he had a massive heart attack, survived but needed surguries and angioplasties routinely. His insurance quickly dropped him, and no one would pick him up. It very nearly bankrupted him, decimated his business and forced its eventual sale, until he could get onto medicare. Anyone considering a business start-up must weigh this, so thus this becomes a block to entreprenureship which has been the strength and driving force of the American economy.

Conservatives have no problem expanding military spending double digits ea year, funding many weapon systems that have questionable usefulness in the post-soviet era, yet choose to ignore a problem that is much more of a benefit to American strength, influence (economic infl. drives all) and prosperity. Is gov't healthcare the solution? Dunno, but we certainly have a problem and are not getting good value for our tax dollars.

you won't be voting for obama then.

Umm, why is that? Your post implies he is either an experienced crook or not a crook at all, which is it?

I believe he was implying that Obama is not a crook. Which would make sense seen as his tenure in office has not been very long. He has not been around long enough to contract the politician "taint".

I agree, he has no where near the experience to manage this country right now. He has potential but right now he should put his oratorial skills behind Hillary Clinton. She'll need all the help she can get.

How about we elect someone that isn't beholden to anybody. Somebody that uses common sense to solve problems. Someone that tries to balance the interests of business with the interests of the people, and so on. Electing someone like Clinton, who is tries her damnest not to piss anyone off, is always seeing which way the wind blows, and beholden to special interests isn't the leader we need in these tough times.

Because unlike you and your fellow Republicans that enjoy destroying America, I think it is worth saving.

I logged onto the SBC subscriber homepage and found a serendipitous, somewhat humorous juxtiposition of headlines. The top two were:

Obama Officially Launches White House Run

How to Choose the Perfect Chocolate Gift

I don't read anything into it. Just wanted to share an amusing coincidence. 😎
