Biggest reason I most likely won't have kids is because I will not be able to afford to send them to a private school and I would never bring a child into this world and subjugate them to the California school system, hell any public school system in general.

It realy is not that bad. When my wife and I had our first sure it sucked. She was teaching at the school so we recieved a discount but it was not much. So I had to make some choices. Do I drink my Sam Adams or some Miller High Life? Do I chew five cans of Cope this week or do I use good judgment and use only one. Buy video games or no video games. Sure I am pretty well off now and my runs the school instead of teaching but it was not always that way.

No surprise there, he has always been a minority sympathizer. His agenda is to please the minority and scare them of the majority and thereby lure them to him and his party. Lots of Hispanics who can vote actually support deportation of criminal illegals and legalizing "hard working" ones (even if they live off entitlement). So this move just strengthens his base. Anybody opposing this can be easily labeled bigot and thereby categorized as "dangerous" to minority.

What's really ironic is that Bush spoke openly of Amnesty for illegal immigrants living in this country back in 2006 IIRC which caused a fucking flood of illegal immigrants to this country.

Secondly, you are making the same mistake as others. There are BIG differences betwen LEGAL and ILLEGAL immigration. They are not one and the same. Get your fact straight.

While I still consider all illegals to be undesirable law breakers and wish we would deport them all, the level of undesirability is stratified because of additional criminal activities and other factors. If we can only deport a finite number of them each year, it is common sense that we attempt to remove the least desirable elements first.

Those knocking Obama for for his management directives here have, as usual, completely failed to explain any flaws in his reasoning. The funding level, the ability to process people for deportation, etc. are well defined limits that produce obvious restraints on our ability to deport people. Obama has set the goal of using what is available to best advantage. That's good management no matter what your political leanings are. To knock him for it either means that you are too stupid to recognize it or a partisan hack with nothing of value to contribute.

You can argue for more money, redoing the system, whatever, but those are completely different issues than what the OP is about, which is how to operate within the current system.

Wages in the construction industry around here have been seriously driven down, even before the recession "started" when the industry was booming. I am in the process of learning Spanish so that I can communicate with other trades on job sites and I don't live in a border state.
