That started before Obama actually did anything. Some would say it was in freefall waaay before he took office. Now before the "uhhhh....muh...buh...bush" parrots chime in, I would like to point out that isn't to say I'm blaming any former president. These drops seem to be more self-inflicted on and by Wall Street. They have been letting their emotions get the best of them instead of actual facts. They have really been acting like lemmings going off this cliff. The stimulus/spending/recovery/whatever bill may be the first such action that would have a meaningful effect, but to be honest we've barely had time for it to get ramped up after passage.

look at a one year chart of the DJIA and it is very clear that the beating was taken while GWB was still President and before the election.

I'm an investor and I'm not scared shitless of Obama. About the only thing that frightens me is the growing number of people in this country who have lost the ability to think for themselves and are becoming drooling idiots.
