Obama has nearly double the donors as any other candidate

Hillary has the most money, but Obama has raised money from nearly 100,000 different donors, double the number listed by Hillary. (And more than anyone else.)

Based on this expect the Obama attacks from the Clinton people to get worse.
I doubt he will win, but he will make it interesting.

ABC News has learned that the $23.5 million Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., raised for his presidential campaign for use in the primaries is more than that raised by the Democratic frontrunner, Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y.

Of the $26 million Clinton has raised in the first quarter of 2007 for her presidential campaign, approximately $20 million is to be used in the primaries and caucuses, sources told ABC News.
and
Obama received donations from more than 100,000 donors, far surpassing any other candidate, including Clinton (50,000); Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., (45,000); former Sen. John Edwards, D-NC, (40,000); or former GOP Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney (34,000).

I'm sure Republicans are wetting their pants at the prospect of Obama getting the Democratic nomination. If there is anything that can stir up the right better than the vague threat of Islamic terrorists somewhere killing your family, it's the prospect of some sort of evil Islamofascist in the White House. And he's black!

Would you consider voting for Obama at All Prof? or is that an absolute no for you. Just curious.

there are probably just as many democrats who won't vote for him because he is black.

Sorry, but the republicans are not the only bastion of bigotry in this world

Nope, you might even see a handful of people of color at their Convention

My understanding is that he is VERY liberal, so I would not vote for him.
Now maybe he can change my mind, but based on his record no.
I have no problem voting for a black person if that is what you are getting at.

Check out his 'liberal' rating based on votes
National Journal 2006 vote ratings
Obama is more liberal than 86% of the Senate. (More liberal than Kerry)
Clinton gets a 70% rating.

McCain is very near the middle with a 43% liberal rating and a 56% conservative rating.

Why would they listen to someone like you? If they shared the Republicans viewpoint they should attend.

You have to wonder about the state of the union if McCain is considered "middle of the road".
