You just can't see how crazy you are, can you?

That's a good point. Crazy. See? There is another judgment that requires metrics in order to determine if I am crazy.

In order to see if I am really crazy, we would take me to an authority like a psychologist. He would then judge my responses and measure those responses against a book of observed behaviors, a standard.

Who is Obama's authority? Who is the author of the metrics by which he is measuring his "righteous wind?"

If we can tackle Palin at the mention of God, I think Obama should answer some of these questions. Is God on Obama's side?

Obama didn`t say God was on his side....
Just because he used the word "righteous" that does not have to have anything to do with God.....

So why the fishing expidition?
You Palin supporters just don`t get it do you?
McCain made a huge mistake in nominating her for his VP and she single handedly mind you will is destroying your beloved Party!!

Is this a mock thread of the one claiming Palin says she is backed by God? Both are at about the same level, maybe I should have checked the original post times on both. Surely one is a parody of the other, but which came first, the chicken or the egg?

Edit: Just checked, the other one was posted first, making this one the parody thread.

Your understanding of Obama's statement could require you to remove your preconceived exclusive connection of the word, righteous to religion.

Main Entry: righ·teous
Pronunciation: \'ri-ch?s\
Function: adjective
Etymology: alteration of earlier [/i]rightuous[/i], alteration of Middle English rightwise, rightwos, from Old English rihtwis, from riht, noun, right + wis wise
Date: 1530

1: acting in accord with divine or moral law : free from guilt or sin2 a: morally right or justifiable <a righteous decision> b: arising from an outraged sense of justice or morality <righteous indignation>3slang : genuine , excellent

The Bushwhackos' policies, from top to bottom, from beginning to end, have been wrong, and so ethically and morally indefensible.
  • As of 10/22/08, they have squandered the lives of 4,186 American troops, and tens of thousands more are wounded, scarred and disabled for life in their war of LIES.

    :(
  • In that same war of LIES, they have squandered trillions of dollars in current and future indebtedness, money that would otherwise have been available to help our nation through the current economic disaster.
  • The economic meltdown, itself, is the direct result of the Bushwhackos' actions removing oversight any remaining authority they may have of the unscrupulous, unethical, criminal actions of their weathy Wall Street contributors and abandoning.
  • In pursuing their war of LIES, they have committed torture and other horrific war crimes and crimes against humanity, and they have committed treason by shredding the rights guaranteed to every American citizen.
Obama opposes all of that, and he is right. I have no doubt that in doing so, it is no stretch of the meaning of the words when he says his campaign have a "righteous wind at our backs."

The Bushwhackos have done nothing but broken that wind and spewed their foul, noxious ethical and moral flatulance at us for eight years. Enough is far more than enough! :|

Isn't that what he meant when he said he has a righteous wind at his back. Seriously, what is the mystical force behind his "righteous wind?" Is he trying to say God is on his side?! I know he believes he is the chosen one and is already planning his first White House meeting, but really!

How is that any different than Palin saying that god will deliver on November 4th?

It's just as bad, except Palin gets held to task for it while Obama does not.
