This type of thread is the equivalent to erecting a statue of Dear Leader in the public square and circle jerking around it.

Only"progressives" worship Dear Leader willingly.

"Dear Leader" is a talking point designed for nutters. The fact that you gleefully repeat this lunatic talking point tells a whole lot about you. How about thinking for yourself for a change? That might mean not repeating insane talking points that were designed for you to happily lap up.

Obamacare wasn't passed using the reconciliation process. It couldn't be as the Senate Parliamentarian ruled it didn't qualify. I don't have the time now explain Byrd's rule, but it couldn't be passed under reconciliation.

This is why the Dems had to cheat: They took a previous House bill that had nothing to do with HC, stripped, using only it's bill#, stuffed it with Obamacare and passed it in December before Scott Brown took office. I.e., the MA voters elected him to stop O'care but the Dems thwarted them. The irony in their recent complaints is particularly sharp.

The subsequent House bill later modifying the original Obamacare was passed in the Senate under the reconciliation process.

I guess MA changed its mind because they quickly voted him back out. Come to think of it, the US voted Obama back in and voted more overall for the democrats in the house and senate in that same election.. I guess they REALLY support the ACA now!!!

Thanks for that clarification!

Senate passes bill on Christmas eve 60-39.

House passes bill via reconciliation on march 25 220-207 with additional changes.

Senate approves the new bill the same day 56-43.

Except that it isn't even the same law that was passed anymore, since it's been changed by executive order 5 times since then, unlawfully bypassing congress. Right?

Your link doesn't say what you think it says.

Your reading comprehension sucks. :\

Heh. Your linked article doesn't even mention the notion that the ACA has been changed 5 times by executive order. It does mention Repubs screwing over their own staffers, however. If you believe that I'm mistaken, please quote the passage for clarification.

Thanks.
