If you set them free they will in all likelihood kill again.

Thus if you close Gitmo and bring them on US soil like the liberals want the rules change, they will get civilian trials that will cost the tax payer millions and cause an overwhelming burden on our judicial system.

Because of our jacked up legal system many will get set free on technicalities and other loop holes, many of whom will be hell bent on hurting us and have no place to go. So following liberal logic they will be granted citizenship and all the rights that go with it. Those rights will allow them to sue the US governments again costing the tax payer millions more in trial costs and settlements.

So by the time the liberals are done they will have set the wolves free, invited them in, and given them the freedom and financial wherewithal to hunt and kill at will.

Is there anything you've ever been not wrong on?

GJ. Now they have a year to find another 'super, secret jail' to house them in.

exactly. do you guys really think they are going to let the leader who blew up the USS Kole and killed 17 of our sailors go free?

You do realize that closing Guantanamo has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not the prisoners in it are set free, right? I'm not sure how you could have gotten that impression.

It's about eliminating extralegal, unaccountable prisons that trample human rights and damage US reputation and interests around the world.

yes i do know that, however there are many who do not, just listen to the news and read a few post in here.

i disagree, gitmo is very accountable. that place is known world wide and is under a microscope. contrary to popular belief it is not a gulag or a slave labor camp. i do agree with the motive with closing it however the prisoners will just be shipped to gitmo II.

will be interesting to see where the prisoners are sent.

I say we give them a trial before deciding if they're guilty. :)
How un-American of you!

I'm glad I'll be happy to see it go, it is a brown sh*t stain on a nice white suit. Those who condone it are akin to the suit wearer playing with himself through a hole in his pocket to distract from the fact there is a sh*t stain on the back.
