Classless Republicans immediately turn Scalia's death into political stunt.

What was so wrong about what he said I don't see or hear anything to be outraged over. Do you really think Scalia who everyone said had a robust sense of humor would want no jokes?

It was neither a funny joke nor at Scalia's expense. That was like Adam Sandler last-few movies bad as humor goes.

He was listing some of the things he's doing in the last year of his term including "appointing judges" and some people laughed, then he smiled.
He never told any jokes. The laughter was because of the republican reaction of not wanting him to appoint anyone. Scalia was never brought up or insulted in any way.

Wow huge disrespectful joke there.

Silly republicans and your attempts to make Obama look bad that have never worked on anyone but other republicans.

I guess I don't hate Obama enough, I don't find that offensive. I'll wait until he appoints a liberal hack to the court before I get outraged.

I thought it was a joke. Nothing to get upset over though.

It wasn't. And even if it was, Scalia would probably be one of the few to be ok with it. To sum up his stance on himself, just look at the video of Colbert did about Scalia after he passed. Scalia was probably one of the few who had no problem with jokes at his expense.

Yeah, it definitely was a joke on his part. He starts to smile before anybody laughs.

Still not bothered.

Conservative Brain Defectives are so involved with hurt egos they have little sense of humor. The humor, of course, was that he not others has a problem appointing judges, a difficulty he laughs about because there is nothing else to do but laugh. The assholes that prevent his appointments are real. A little humor at the expense of human garbage, the Republican Senate, is always appreciated. The situation is hopeless but not serious.

The joke was about having to do, what non presidents and non governors would likely view as a huge to do list whereas for presidents and governors, who he was talking to, it's business as usual.

It was an inside joke that only governors and presidents would understand being that it's what they do. It had zero to do with appointing judges.

The OP is a fucking troll and should be banned.

Shrug, the GOP threw this gauntlet down within hours of the man dying iirc. I don't recall anyone on the right saying that was classless.

Sure it was classless, but politicians and classy behavior aren't frequent companions, anymore than politicians and funny jokes are either based on this video.

This goes right up there with Umbrellagate as one of the most scandalous controversies of the Obama Administration.

Obama looks very sad at the fact a supreme court justice just died.

Funny, most people would say the same about both of you. Lucky for you, people don't get banned for having a different opinion  I don't want any of you sent packing....

Its fine, when Bernie or Hillary get elected, they will have to confirm someone and then Ginsburg will feel safe to retire and the court will be 5-4 liberal.

Clarence Thomas is pretty old too...would be a shame if he died in the next few years and then the court would be 6-3 liberal... :sneaky:

Then the court would be liberal for the next 20 years at least, the republicans basically will never win a presidential election ever again unless they start running nothing but latino women lol.

Then all the munchkins will come out and rejoice like when the house falls on the witch in wizard of Oz.
