Re-Regulating what activities a Bank can engage in would fix this.

Would be nice if they didn't just get free money too. I'm against most regulation, but we should clearly define what a bank is imo.

Banks get money from the government and their is no negotiation in the process . Either the president and the people he picked are complete idiots or the banks are the ones that make the rules. I don't think the president is an idiot.

I have read that the current recession started in December 2008 and this graph supports this.

I am curious how the graph about private sector appointees in OP relates to economic growth and the business cycle.
