Romney is conservative.

When you put a conservative in a place like Massachusetts you are not going to get the same thing as if you put them in Texas.

One of the ONLY things I have respect for the man is that he was able to adapt his own beliefs/position (if he actually HAS one) to fit his electorate.

Aside from that, he is the Mormon Ken Doll.... One more from that, he is Barbie's Mormon "Daddy" doll. (Sugar daddy would be pushing it. For some reason, I can't imagine this man having sex...... Maybe it is just subconscious self defense. Like imagining Ron Paul and Margret Thatcher doin' the nasty on the White House Lawn......)

Why is obama engaging in this nonsense, the man isn't even a Christian and has attacked Christianity, hes playing class warfare because student loans shouldn't be subsidized since it raises the cost of school

Actually he is a self professed christian and has attended a christian church with his family a couple of times since he took office. I'm more concerned why we haven't seen publicly funded colleges and universities do more to cut their costs of their institutions. You rarely even see a discussion of what they could do to cut costs.

He has attacked Christianity in the past, he is not a Christian

During a speech to a carefully handpicked and vetted crowd to insure absolutely no dissent was present President Obama called for the crowd to shout the religious term "AMEN" to show their agreement to his speech. I found it rather alarming as an obvious attempt by the President to combine politics and religion. Is he trying to institute a State religion?

The president asking for an Amen during a political speech equates to him trying to establish a "state religion"? Are you serious or is this a joke?

A joke. With the rabid hatred of Christianity that's so popular in this forum I thought it would be worth a chuckle if Barney O'Bama was doing some preachy stuff.

They are not going to seek to cut their own costs because government is guaranteeing a steady revenue stream via fed backed student loans and pushing policies that compels people to attend college. In other words the whole damn system is geared toward ensuring that disincentives are in place that prevent cost control and price competition.

I agree, so I wasn't going to get into the endless back and forth.

It's always good to recognize that and move on. As much as I want to argue with his silly statements, I recognize that he is not one who will listen to reason. Even on things which incontestable truth can be shown where he's wrong. Fanatics will be fanatics.
