But....he's a Muslim! Uhh...he's a liberal so he hates religion! Uhhh....

...really?

Seems the Right can't keep its rhetoric straight.

but but but democrat liberals are suppose to be atheist!! (according to many of the people who post in this forum)

Historically, religion is not only very bi-partisan, but often has leaned to the left - ya know, 'care about the poor', the civil rights movement had many religious figures.

One more of the bad turns for the country Reagan brought was the development of the 'religious right' as a political force in the country.

How can anyone say this country is losing its manufacturing edge in the face of such efficiently manufactured Republican Outrage?

Did you expect him to say "Can I get a woop woop?" or "Can I get an 'Allah Akbar'?"

There is a lot of other ways to request a crowds acknowledgement of a statement.

Ya Hear? Ya Dig. You feeling me. Right?

Body language also can show he is requesting a response from the crowd as well. An upward palm aimed towards the crowd accepting their voiced agreement to what he just said.

All could have been used instead of "Can I get an Amen".

What's really surprising to me is that he isn't on the attack of free market forces which are leading more and more students into the wrong degree choices. The market is duping students into the line of thought that any degree is a good degree, and any college is a good college. So they take out loans to just any college, for just any degree, and then the market isn't there to rescue them after misleading them.

We need more intervention into labor and education markets to help cure the bad information reaching our young ones.

I really do love the 'insulting' names that people come up for political parties they don't like. Dimocrats, Democrat Party, ReTHUGlicans, DemonRATS, etc. I mean not only are they the kind of things that a 12 year old would say, but they aren't even witty or original.

Lesson of the day: if you're going to act like a child, at least make sure it's funny.

I always liked "Republicunts".

During a speech to a carefully handpicked and vetted crowd to insure absolutely no dissent was present President Obama called for the crowd to shout the religious term "AMEN" to show their agreement to his speech. I found it rather alarming as an obvious attempt by the President to combine politics and religion. Is he trying to institute a State religion?

Just out of curiosity, how did you find that out?

As for Obama attempting to institute a State religion, well, seeing as if he's a Muslim commie Kenyan born no BC who's "not one of us", it doesn't look even remotely possible for him to accomplish that. While Santorum and Perry (with Romney strangely silent about his "religiosity") are jumping all over themselves declaring that each is holier than thou, I'd think the Repub agenda is more inclined to do that sort of thing, or is insinuating such, don'cha think?😉

He was obviously in talk-like-an-idiot mode. It's the mode he talks in when he ain't talkin' to Congress or other bigshots, but just regular ole' folk down on main street who ain't keen on all them fancy words by the big city boys and the like.

Thanks😉 But we're not all idiots and it's not free money, well what I'm getting isn't at least:\ It's just keeping the loan rates down lower than what they would be (3.4% vs 6.8%)

Yet, millions of college student loans are still not getting paid off. No, his speech is more than about the rates, it's a prelude at more spending.

Really Garfield, I really want to know what sites the liberal/progressive Democrats allow us poor conservative Republicans to visit and link to and quote from. Could you please provide us with a list that you permit? It seems Fox is forbidden, now Drudge is forbidden. Where can us poor conservatives go? Where do we have permission from our progressive masters to visit and get information?

IANALiberal, so how would I know? Go ask a liberal.

But you do know the phrase, "garbage in, garbage out," don't you? Hello Fox and drudge.

It was a serious question. I just want to know where i can get my "liberal approved" facts. What source can I use to quote that is on the "liberal Democrat" approved list?
Which media outlet is so biased in the Democrats favor that it's permitted for a conservative to quote?
