You conveniently left out the remaining text on the article: "NBC/WSJ poll shows gap between popularity of president and his policies".
This is a significant discrepancy...people are still infatuated with the celebrity of Obama, but his policies are losing traction and support, even within his own party.
Bush similarly remained popular in the polls until the failings of his policies caught up to his approval ratings.
I don't have a good read on Obama yet...and it is far too early to judge his Presidency, but the chaos surrounding this whole stimulus fiasco is certainly not helping.
