Hell, I think most were still willing to give the dummy the benefit of the doubt even when he was beating the drums of war trying to tie Iraq to 9/11, nukes, Elvis, whatever because we thought no way would he actually invade. After 9/11 there was no us, them, reps, dems, libs, cons, there was some real unity... albeit brief, Obama certainly didn't ruin that but you'd think HE ordered the strikes himself judging from some of the hate I have read/heard since the day he took office.
