Oatmeal + nutella = win

I normally have a jar of nutella at my desk for the occasional mid morning bagel. I also stock instant oatmeal.

The oatmeal was tasting kinda blah so I figured what the heck...grabbed the nutella and dropped a scoop of nutella in there...stirred and let it sit for a bit.

BAM!

Chocolatey...hazel nutty oatmeal goodness.

Reminds me a lot of the Coco wheats I'd have as a kid.

🙂

Hmm... I have to try that.

I always put brown sugar and dried cranberries in my oatmeal, never thought to put nutella in it. Good call.

Thanks for the idea. I'll have to try that with my daughter. She's been burned out on oatmeal, but has been on a big Nutella kick lately.

I do that with a scoop of peanut butter. Less sugar and more protein.

Meh. It's not that much sugar and I couldn't care less about it. And if I want protein for breakfast I'll have eggs and a glass of milk.

I just went and looked this up:

Hershey's Kit Kat Crisp Waffers In Chocolate [1 oz] Sugar, Flour, Cocoa Butter, Milk Non-Fat, Chocolate, Palm Kernel Oil Refined, Lactose, Milk Fat, Contains 2% or less Soya Lecithin, PGPR, Emulsifiers, Yeast, Sodium Bicarbonate, Vanillin, Flavor(s) Artificial

Nutella:
ingredients: sugar, modified palm oil, hazelnuts, cocoa, skim milk, reduced minerals whey (from milk), soy lecithin: an emulsifier, vanillin: an artificial flavor.
