Oakleys...get them polarized?

I'm looking at getting a pair of Half Jackets, and 50% more for polarized seems like quite a bit. Is it that much more effective? The non-polarized also have better color options.

There are some things you don't want to skimp money on. Your eyes are one of those things.

You might want to look into getting some Maui Jims ... much better quality on the lens process.

Link. From what I've seen Oakleys have some of the best lens quality.

Oakley > Brand X

By far, the best 7 investments I've made in my short lifetime.

amen. I lost a pair and was pretty broke, but after day 4 I broke down and bought another pair.

I also vote polarized. If I'm going to be wasteful and pay more than $10 for sunglasses, I'm gonna buy polarized ones.

Polarized lenses are well worth the extra cost.

Price diff for mine were $80 vs $180 and it was more than worth it. If you are in the sun enough, its a sound investment.

I have a pair of polarized Okaley's. Before them, I had never owned a pair of sunglasses that cost more than $15. After experiencing the difference, I will NEVER go back. $200 well spent IMO.

REVO lenses > all. 🙂

at least its easy to tell if you have polarized lenses or some kinda knockoffs... one of the few times it's VERY easy to judge quality

polarized if you need them, if not they can cause problems with viewing certain signs/screens.

Some ATMS show a black screen when you have polarized lenses on.
