I saw these at the Costco B&M in Alhambra, CA last night. They were in the prescription glasses area. They only color they had were the Dark Frame/Black Iridium Lens with the Spring hinges. I picked up a pair since oakley's never go on sale and these are about $55 below retail.

Can anyone else confirm this deal at other Costco's? It might be just regional, so YMMV.

Update:

They also have the following:

E-wire 2.1 for $129
Eye Jacket 3.0 for $59.99 in various colors
Polarized Straight Jacket for $109
Fours for $64
Scars for $99
Minutes for $69

Hmmmm, interesting! I don't think the SWs fit too well on me back when I tried them, but maybe they'll have other lines too!

Not unusual. Costco is frequently purchasing huge lots of Oakleys and then selling them ~30% less than places like Sunglasses Hut. Its mid-range models in the $90-$130 range but occasionally the ones higher up.

I saw a bunch of Oakleys at the Fountain Valley, CA Costco. They had big disclaimer, they are not authorized Oakley dealer and the warranty is through Costco. I don't know if this matters or not.

Damn. For some strange reason, I originally read that as "Oakley Square Wire 2.0 for $0.99 at Costco B&M"

Then I re-read it and finally realized it's $99.

Tired. So tired.

Its the same as a lot of other high end brand names, if you want to sell it as an authorized retailer then you have to sell it in a specified price range. Onkyo and Harmon Kardon sp? have similar practices with electronics.

Whoa! I saw these in the alhambra Costco too! They had a number of different models; however, the square wires and e wires caught my eye... I didn't see any of the X metal line unfortunately (I particularly love the penny line, those things are made for the skinny asian :) which alhambra has a high population of). Oh well, good luck all.

Costco has lots of interesting sunglasses deals all the time! A pair of CK frames I was checking out for $150+ at sunglasses hut and online was only $70 there! I love their optical :)

I have a pair of the X Metal Juliets i got when they were first released. I have a small head. By the Romeo lines seemed a little bigger. You should check those out and see if they would fit. I just hate to see someone that wants a pair of these and not be able to wear them.

Does anyone know if they have the spring-loaded Square Wire 2.0's? These retail for $15 more than the non-spring shades. Who else has deals on Oakleys? Oakley deals are sure hard to come by!

I doubt the warranty would ever matter - in my experience Oakley will replace a scratched lens or cracked frame for cheap, and I have never had them ask for a receipt. Hell, a buddy found a pair on the ground with a broken frame, and Oakley replaced the frame for something like $20 - not a bad price for a new pair of Oakleys.

I like the Squre Wire 2.0's.....However, it's too bad they don't have any of the Zero's on sale...I'd rush it in a heartbeat....Nice post and good looking out.
