ok house of the dead looks like a combo of house of 1000 corpses and resdent evil to me. A cheap ploy at satisfying both the mainsteam and th true horro fans such as myself. I looks to me as if they failed on both accounts.

Blade III: all i have to say is that it had to happen sometime. Money rules the world and the other two maid money. If it is advertised well it should make money before everyone realizes that they re-wrote the first to get the second and re-wrote the second to get the third.
 
Movie based on a video game is generally a minus.

The director of House of the Dead was interviewed on NPR yesterday, and I did like some of his perspectives on horror films. He argued that anyone in the film should potentially die at any time: no protection for being prettier or a B+ list actor. That alone may reduce the boredom factor, I hate knowing that Jennifer Love Hewitt is going to survive in every horror flick she ever appears in...

Judging by the trailer, I highly doubt it will be the worst ever, unless you just don't like cheezy horror flicks to begin with.

He was ripping off Rob zombie on that one. He has been one of a handful of Horror Movie makers ever to kill off the stars for realism. So as i have said: It looks like a cheap rip off of house of 1000 corpses and resident evil combined.

Uwe Boll (the director) didn't claim the concept of killing off starts was original, but rather credited 70s era horror flicks in general and complained that the recent trend was too much predictability.

I may go to a matinee out of curiosity.
 
They are not even in a house! It's a jungle....


This movie looks so stupid, possibly the worst game transition since Street Fighter.
