O/Cing a 1600+

I know that to best overclock a 1600+ you need to fill the L1 bridge gaps and connect them etc. But, I new to overclocking, and I've just been fooling around, and I was wondering how bad is it to overclock just by upping the FSB? I know that it effects your PCI/AGP buses, but is it to the point that you just shouldn't do it?
Thanks

this is the o/cing forum 🙂

if you up the FSB, make sure your board has an agp lock / pci lock or dividers in order to maintain a 66 / 33 mhz frequency for your slots
