O/C Lock-up - Any suggestions

Did the pencil trick the other day and have been playing with O/C'ing my Duron 600/Abit KT7-Raid combo.

Last night I set multipler to 8.5, voltage to 1.6, and FSB 107/35. System loaded up perfectly but then locked when I went into Rogue Spear. Re-set FSB to 100/33 and no problems.

I'd like to be able to bump up the FSB from the 'norm', any thoughts...higher voltage, ???

Take the FSB up in samll steps from 100 ,each time testing to see if your game plays OK (I use Unreal) ,when it locks up ,then try increasing the CPU voltage by the smallest steps until (or if!) it sorts it out.
BTW 3D games tend to be much more sensitive to overclocking than just running windows.

Get a good HSF. I recommend a GlobalWin FOP32 or FOP38.

Definitely need to increase the voltage to get more performance.
