They are a bunch of stuck up you know what! I might add that the mods and senior ranking members are allowed to have any signature they want, but after 4 or 5 months mine was replaced with a rude link posted below:

this makes no sense to me!

Their stuck up attitudes, I couldn't even post a response because my ranking wasn't high enough!

my farewell response:

sorry about my html ignorance. I know it might look I got really upset over something trivial, but these forums are to help people regardless of their ranking or number of posts. While ranking does carry a certain amount of clout here, I do not assume or judge a person with one post to be a lessor being.

Maybe I didn't read enough, but I don't get how what they have is much different than AT forum's own FAQ that new members are asked to read before posting.

The rules for new posters aren't really the problem, it is their attitude. The moderator posted a rude link were my signature had been for months. Apparently they had new rules about the signature length and couldn't even give existing members an e-mail. Then they posted the new rules in a moderator locked thread that you cannot even post a response or question to. Also try to decipher what the heck the rules for the signature length are, apparently it has something to do with ranking.

Thanks for the links, I really must learn to do that. I had major trouble getting the "my rigs" link to work!

is:

My sig was too long, I need to read the rules on them.

that the message you saw? Doesnt seem THAT rude. Their rules seem quite simple, 10 lines on a 800x600 res, and that post explains it depending on what type size you use. Sure they could word it better or just enforce it automaticaly thru coding but I dont think its that difficult.

Well, the mods must have felt like they did something wrong. I was really suprised by the response I got. Figured they would just tell me to drop dead, but they actually made some kind of effort to apologize and acted like they did not want me to leave the forum. I blew off some steam and feel much better, all is forgiven. I feel at least the problem of treating newer members as lesser beings was recognized. All is well that ends well.

sorry to say rogue1979, but why do I care if you have a zip drive or not? Put it in the system rigs thing and link to that. It's much easier on our eyes, and that's what the system rigs profile was designed for!
