O/C 1600+ temp concerns

hey,
i just o/c my 1600+ to 1.650Ghz stable while looping 3dmark 2001se and i have been using the system too. i have a abit k7ra, mushkin 256 high performance ram, radeon 8500 64MB, and volcano 6cu. after looping the system cpu temps run at 60 deg C, system temp about 39C. i'm just wondering if this is a little too hot for the cpu. i've been reading different things. any suggestion to cool this down further before i pump up the voltage 🙂

thanks,
jt

That's pretty high, my 1.6a @ 2.5 1.61v runs at 32c idle, never went over 50c under load, I'd definitely look into your cooling situation.....
🙂

That seem about right for the Athlon XP. Mine reads 55C after an hour of RTCW. My 1600+ is clocked 1.53gig (10.5x146MHz, 1.725volts). I would think you could get it below the 60C mark though.

Do you have a PSU with 2 fans? Your case temp seems low enough though.
