I've been looking for a case to put all of my work computer's innards in so I can haul it back and forth from work to home when I need to do upgrades. This one looks pretty sharp, had decent positive reviews everywhere I checked (the only major complaint is that it's a bit larger than most "Lan Party" cube cases), and seems to have everything I need.

I grabbed one, but I ended up paying about $25 in shipping. Still not a bad deal considering the going price.

Holy cow, shipping for me would be $27.33 for cheapest method!!! Hot base price, but shipping FTL. Still, $100 shipped for the case is still a good deal.

That is a pretty good deal. I have one that is now housing my home server. It's a nice piece with plenty of room. It's built like a tank to boot.

Yeah, but like you said, considering the going price is $120-140ish, $95 shipped isn't bad. I don't understand why shipping from Newegg is so horrible all of a sudden.

I don't know for sure - I don't have mine yet. I think it would though.

It's more of a cube than a "DVD Player" desktop style, and from what I've heard it's pretty large even for a cube. Probably not the best choice for HTPC, unless you want to show it off at the same time rather than being discrete.

Yeah, seems like it'd be a cool looking HTPC if you were looking to keep it in view. Not really small enough to hide easily, though.

I just still can't get over the shipping. Given the other prices out there, it still is a good deal but it moves it out of the 'hot' category for me. It seems like a lot of the HTPC cases are very overpriced for the niche market.

Yes. This thing is quite large. It may be listed as matx but it has the room for a full size motherboad, just not the needed mounting points. I can't imagine anyway to discretely implement into a home theatre, it would need to be a focal point.

I've built a couple of quad core, 4 drive RAID5 array portable video editing machines out of these cases. They're quite awesome, but end up being rather heavy. The included carrying strap DOES handle the weight nicely, though.

Airflow is awesome with just the included fans. It is a bit of a pain to work on the first time, but once you figure out how to take it apart, it's much easier the second time.

I was wondering about the strap. I saw something about it "coming with a case," but was disappointed when I saw just a few sheets of nylon with a strap attached rather than a full-cover case. As long as it helps me get it from point A (home) to point B (work) I'll be satisfied.

I wonder what everyone else in the office will think about the blue glow...
