NZXT H2 Case

Has anyone else checked out these cases. I just picked one up yesterday and this thing is awesome I never tried this brand of cases before but I am really impressed by this case. It has a ton of room for hard drives in it and not only that even with all the fans in it you cannot hear the thing run at all. Just curious if there are any others out there that have tried this case and if there are any other cases out there that are similar to it.

Yeah that is a nice looking case. Post some pictures once you get it up and running 🙂

It's a great case, some reviews said temps were a bit high but that's the trade off of using so much acoustic foam right.

I have it up and running I had some troubles getting the power cables run the right way because of the length of some of the cables wouldn't go through the cable management pathways so the cabling is a work in process. I will take pics now and post them up.

Here are the pictures as requested.

I know it is a bunch of pictures but I felt it was such a nice case it needed showing off, I also love the fans how they swap in and out like they do.

Does the white one come with acoustic insulation on the insides of the side panels? I can't see it.

Beautiful pics man! And thank your for your answers! If you can post more..updated pics with your rig.Cool builds like yours in nzxt h2 white cases are rare on the internetz.

I'm a big fan of NZXT. They're not the best quality wise, but I'd put them somewhere on par with Antec, CoolerMaster, etc. They do tend to use great materials in some of their stuff.

I love my NZXT Rogue. It has quirks, it's big and heavy for a mATX cube, but man does it have nice features considering.

So what's the final word on this bad boy? I'm between this and the CM Scout Enforcer or the Fractal Core 3000.

What say you?

The nzxt h2 it's a nice case.Made out of solid materials,GOOOD paintjob, comes with alot of stuff, even the screws the gave you are thumbscrews, they really put some effort into the case.

- The fan controller onboard is great, the fans the case camed with, are good, silent at 40% and 70% rpm ( with the fan controller provided by nzxt)
- The hard drive slots should of been better engineered, way too many!
- Front intake(the doors) should of been bigger, the fans need more air
- The front fans "thingy" is really spectacular, you can easily remove the fans and it works great, no sound !
- other stuff: buttons works well, the magnetic cover for the top fan is good, stays into place.

that's just biased.the reviewer is prolly gettin some money from the fractal to bash the h2.
I saw the video before I bought I and nothing like the jackass said it will be.
It said it has sh1tty paintjob - not true, it's miles better than my cm690.
it siad the magnet exhaust is really poor and you can't put it in place - really not true, you just gotta understand where it should be .
It's a good case dunno what's better the r3 or the h2, but the h2 has some nicer stuff, like usb 3.0, fan controller, 'clip on' fans plus some minor but really cool stuff..where you can see they really put some effort in making it - all thumbscrews instead of just normal screws, the panel just slides in place, dust filters,(the really really long bottom dust filter for psu and fan)

Thanks for pointing that out. I was surprised by his comments because I really like NZXT cases, used an M59 on gf's build and it is the best $50 case I ever used. I dismissed most of his comments, the stuff about the top filter is bullshit for example. But the airflow issue is why I posted the link. Just by looking at it, it seems like the intake fan is starved for air. Comparison tests from various sites show the H2 isn't the coolest case out there in this price range.

I don't like the door on the front of the H2. I'm thinking of using the Tempest Evo on my next build - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...0tempest%20evo

Bad marketing is bad.

dude..get the nzxt phantom .. tempest evo looks like a cm 690, noisy and full of dust.I happend to own one....
I dont know about the door on the H2 it has a nice finish.

I was wondering if this case could fit an eATX board inside. I know specifications would indicate normal ATX as largest size, but I would hate to buy a new motherboard just to get this case.
I got the ASUS Rampage IV Extreme currently inside a NZXT Switch 810.
A bit off topic, I hardly got time to game anymore so I reduced my specs to: 16gb RAM, i7-3820, AMD 6870 from i7-3960X, 2x GTX 580. Traded it off to my younger brother, so as you can see I really didn't even need the damn mobo in the first place. 🙄

Question then is, do I buy a new mobo to fit this case or can I jam the old one inside?

And I apologize if my English is rusty, second language after all 😉
