NyQuil and DayQuil

I took a NyQuil last night before going to bed, when I woke up I had this odd feeling in my jaw when I yawned, it's the feeling of being about to throw up. I took a DayQuil a little while ago, and the symptoms remain. It's nearly making me gag.

What's in this crap that's making me react like this? o_O

This is interesting. I believe the DayQuil is kicking in because I feel kind of buzzed, and it's slowly increasing.

Man, I took nyquil at around 10am once when I wasn't feeling too good, thought I'd try sleeping the day away. I think I dreamt about some sort of elephants crashing through my walls all day. It was very weird.

Well then .. the only common ingredients left are

Acetaminophen and Dextromethorphan


Acetaminophen is Tylenol .. so if you don't feel like that while taking Tylenol
then it's the Dextromethorphan (Cough Suppressant)

Although side effects from dextromethorphan are not common, they can occur:

dizziness
lightheadedness
drowsiness
nervousness
restlessness
upset stomach
vomiting
stomach pain

I guess you must be one of those few people that have a problem with

Man, I'm freakin out. I'm cold and I feel drunk. I would normally just go to sleep in this situation, but I'd probably puke myself awake.

Actually, my alcohol tolerance isn't great, but I can get around 10 beers down before being technically "drunk". This stuff, though...wow.
