NEW YORK - A New York police officer called to help a drunken woman get home safely instead raped her as she lay face down in her bed, semiconscious and covered in vomit while his partner acted as a lookout, prosecutors alleged Tuesday.

That's just disgusting. Even if she was willing, how could he find her arousing at that point?

If the woman did have some of her wits about her why didn't she make sure her door was locked?

Seems pretty clear that she didn't at the time. BAC at least double the legal limit, and vomiting? Locking the door was probably the last thing on her mind, if she could've even made it to the door!

Why would a police officer not lock the door when leaving?

Maybe he planned on coming back and raping her.

So is the issue on trial here whether she was drunk and slutty versus unconscious and raped?

Those two are not mutually exclusive. Too often, a woman's sexual experience, outfit and drunkenness are used to justify rape.

Or her buyer's remorse used to press charges of rape.

:Q

This just got interesting...

What? Some rape apologist on the internet says something ignorant and that makes this "interesting?"

If I admitted to using a condom with you, there were witnesses to your drunkenness, and evidence that you were throwing up, then you would have a good case.
