Enter The Void is 3 hours long. I watched it because the director is interesting and it's a great movie. I'll be seeing Nymphoniac 1&2 soon because I love LvT.

short answer: i'd rather porn.
long answer:
the emotions and intellectual stimuli an intelligent film generates are not compatible with the base ones that sex does. vaginas tend to have one effect and one only.

inevitable food comparison: it's like cinnamon, its lovely and goes great on sweets, but you really can't put it on any other food.

the director should know better, and that you can have the same message he tries to convey, without having any sex onscreen.

(this kind of films have been tried before... my take is that he's just an old pervert and his brain convinced him to try to pass this as art)
