And this will be a real rink unlike the oval at Wollman. You guys go to Wollman ? I go like 2-3 times a year. Parking is a b!tch and the LIRR is too expensive and slow.

i always thought you lived somewhere in the boroughs or something...mmmm...

oh and wollman is always waaay too crowded

na, I've never been to Wollman. it's always too crowded everytime i pass by. i think the last time I ice skated was when i used to live in Switzerland. I might check this out though

I moved from Jamaica Queens in 4th grade to LI.

not completely free; still have to pay for rentals. but this should be a good alternative esp. since its right in midtown whereas wollman is the park.

went today - it was awesome... hockey-size rink and of course free if you got your own skates. We skated for maybe 3 hours... awesome ice.
