NYC passes ban on supersized sugary drinks

Might as well close all restaurants in the country. People can't regulate the amount of chicken wings they eat, or the serving size of a steak, or a proper serving of french fries.... close them all. Limited healthcare resources you know. We can all just eat 4oz of boiled chicken and raw broccoli for dinner every night.

That might be a fair analogy if they were outright banning sodas or even limiting amounts. As it is this is just limiting the containers it comes in so analogy fail.

Very interesting that they chose to ban large sizes of sugary water, yet still allow the highly poisonous and addictive fast food restaurants to keep killing people off slowly.

Fast food isn't poisonous beyond the fact that it is unhealthy with its caloric count in the buns, and the fat - meat ratio in the meat. I have studied them. However, in turn the salads are usually one of the WORST things you can buy at a fast food resturant because of what they put on them and the dressings.
