NYC Parking

I am going to be driving into NYC on Friday to see the Tree & catch the Radio City Christmas Spectacular - can anyone reccommend a near by Garage/Parking Lot that wont charge me 30+ for a few hours.

good luck

i just drove my wife onto the east side yesterday for a 20 minute appointment. 38E and 57st. Unless you find parking one of the small street by some stroke of luck, you will need to drive to 9th ave or farther to park.

i'd park somewhere in queens then take a subway from there.

safest bet yet! Flushing has some pretty big/modest costing parking lots near the Mainstreet/roosevelt ave 7 train station. The 7 train can take you all the way to Time Sq

1. Borrow a very expensive car for the day.
2. Take car to a bank and ask for a $10,000 loan, leaving the car as collateral. Should be about 8% interest.
3. Watch Christmas Spectacular.
4. Return to bank, pay off loan, pick up car, pay one day's interest of about $2.
5. PROFIT!

Ummm...If he borrows the car he cannot use it as collateral because he does not hold the title to it.

Parking ticket in NYC is now $110.00.... I heard there is also a $50.00 surcharge, but cannot verify that!

🙁

sadly, i am well aware of this....

most garages are going to cost you around 20 bucks for a day's worth of parking.....

iconparking seems very interesting... I am going to see what my date thinks, catching the train in seems like it may be the best solution at this point. I honestly don't even know what time we are going to be leaving the city.
