Hmm, probably not. The gains in 2010 were aided significantly by depressed turnout among Democrats, something that's unlikely in a presidential election year. House Republicans also control significant numbers of marginal districts which are particularly vulnerable to Democratic takeovers (especially as part of a winning Presidential campaign).

I would predict moderate Republican losses in the House. They may very well experience some Senate gains though, as they electoral map is friendly to them in 2012.

There is a reason Chamber of Commerce been pimping amnesty every newsletter since I can remember. At the same time, like off-shoring, it inundates the pool for limited white collar work since everyone and their brother who was displaced is now going to school all for limited slots.

We will probably look a lot like Mexico in the coming years. They have lots of billionaires too. About 10% that serve and protect them all living behind large walls, in safe cities and partolled rancheros. And 90% in misery and destitution owning nothing.

Odd that I don't even know what a Teapartier is, I've never cared enough about whatever their up in arms about to care. Maybe I should go check them out online, but from the postings here, it sounds like they're a somewhat disorganized grass roots groups of people whose common shared major concern is $$$$$ of the Fed Gov...doesn't sound too crazy to me at least from that angle.
