I hate having to do shit because we have a crime boss president. Didn't want to buy Switch 2 at launch either but bought early to beat the August 1st tariffs and sure enough Nintendo raised the price of pretty much everything they make other than the Switch 2 on August 3rd while also releasing a statement indicating the Switch 2 will eventually get a tariff price bump too.

Every one of Trump's cabinet picks lied their asses off at their confirmation hearings because they knew their lies wouldn't be held against them by their leaders or the folks that voted for them. And now that they're all safely tucked between Trump's cellulite encrusted butt cheeks, they can merrily carry on lying through their teeth about anything and everything they should be held accountable for.

They know full well that their despicable behavior will negatively affect their legislator's chances at the polls so their fix for this is to rig the upcoming elections via gerrymandering the shit out of their districts in their favor rather than own up and pay the price for their treacherous criminal behavior. The depths to which they will keep themselves in power is bottomless. There is no abyss whose floor will stop them from carrying out their authoritarian schemes. They'll simply keep digging that abyss deeper and deeper.

The still voted today to change the outcome of yesterday's vote. Today, they voted that the federal government should not cover the MMRV vaccine for children under 4, a decision that will ultimately lead to fewer children being vaccinated. Sure, they can still get MMR and varicella separately, but that just becomes another logistical hurdle, and the whole thing unnecessarily muddies the water around vaccine safety, exactly what people like RFK Jr have been doing for the past 20 years
