If the Jets lose it will not be because of Pennington. It will be because of mental errors and poor judgement.

They are one of the few teams that played Pitt well during the regular season. If they can get ahead early and force Rothlisdafsfasdfasdfger to pass more than he's comfortable with, the Jets have a shot... and Pennington is playing, J-Abe... probably not.

John Abraham will not get another contract with the Jets acting like this. I know that he needs to worry about his future. But it is how you play (or not play) in the present that will show what you will get in the future.

If the Jets lose it will be because Pittsburgh has a better team.

compare abraham to the two recent nose tackles for the packers. gilbert brown tore his bicep early in the season and was told to sit the entire season out. instead of doing that, he decided to retire after the season and play with the injury.

similarly the new guy, forgot his name, has a torn ligament and is playing despite that. i don't know if his contract is up for renewal or not, but you can be that he is more likely to get an extension...

Wrong!! The Jets have already said that they will make him their franchise player.

They can definitely win, they are better than people give them credit for. Yet they won't -- Steelers are just too good and too physical.

They have NO passrush without Abraham. If they try blitzing, Big Ben just has to air it out. The Jet's secondary has no chance against the Steelers recievers.

Do you have any more deep and insightful commentary?

Ellis is pretty good pass rusher. Jets defense is actually ranked pretty high in most categories.

From what I've seen of the Jets, and I've watched most of their games, their defense is okay, not great - and that's WITH Abraham. Ellis is a spotty player, he can have great games and not show up for others. But the Steelers recieving corp. is way too good for the Jets secondary.

You're right, they only shut out opposing offenses after halftime 8 times this year. terrrrrrible defense. they get blown out every game. they better not even show up. they shuld just cancel the playoffs and hand the steelers the hardware. game over before it starts. steelers win eleventy billion to negative ten. hamburgler makes bradshaw wash his jock for him. /sarcasm

Corrrrrect.

After what the Steelers did to Buffalo, I look for a strong performance.
