NY-03 Special Election (Santos)

Who will win?

  • Suozzi (D)

    Votes: 14 100.0%
  • Pilip (R)

    Votes: 0 0.0%

  • Total voters
    14
Suozzi by 5 seems a reasonable bet.

Though the Dems already voted absentee/early heavily and there is now a huge snowstorm on E day when Rs like to vote.

If the people care about having a country that will vote Democrat evrerywhere. Only they still believe in government and not suicide by chaos.

I'm a part of a local group of progressives who get together and set up activities to help progressives and Dems get elected - and to save democracy in 2024 - and we promote ranked choice voting - we work with some local and state legislators on this stuff as well as other grassroots organizations..In November we will head to PA which as we all know is a swing state, and knock on doors urging registered Dems to vote for Biden.

Last month we each got a bunch of letters already addressed and printed out for registered Dems in that Long Island race. Then we had a space in the beginning of the printed letter to write a few sentences to personalize the letter, also hand write the envelopes, etc...Give it a personal touch.

It felt nice, I hope those people we sent them to turned out to vote today. Suozzi better win!

You're doing a noble effort man.

At 69% reporting, it's Suozzi by 11 points. So much for how the media was pitching this as a tight race.
As seems usual lately, Dems voted early while Repubs waited for election day. Snow today depressed turnout, virtually assuring a Democratic win.

GOP has been on a loosing streak since overturning Roe. I hope it carries into Nov.
But with their move to only culture wars, it doesn’t make sense red districts still voted R. It’s insane that they still get voted in. Any sane person should never vote Repugican. Give Dems supermajorities and see what actually could be done.
